Vanity, Power and Greed - a bad disease

indeed. I cannot stop thinking about

poverty and hungry people in this

cruel violent world. Like all of us,

I am becoming more frustrated,

depressed about our future.

Yet even those who promulgate

God's love divine strike hard. My

faith is in the love and goodwill of

civilised persons who can feel

and heal the pain of others by

simply offering hope. I look

outside to the yard to see a

blue horizon, candy floss clouds,

silhouetted trees on rugged ridges.

I smile. I sob. I suffocate on

scented blooms of poisonous

Angels' Trumpets.
